Purchased in 2013 from the Netherlands in foal to Epsom Gesmeray, Evita brings the bloodlines of Darco, Capitol and Landrgaf into our breeding program.
Douglas VDL Douglas underwent his stallion test in
Adelheidsdorf as a 3 year old, earning the 1st place in jumping. As
a 4 yr. old Douglas was the Champion of Ireland in his age group. As
5, 6 and 7 yr. old he was a finalist at the Irish Championships. Douglas
competed successfully in International 1.40m and 1.50m classes with
rider Conor Swail – 2nd and 4th in Dublin, 2nd in the B&R
1.40m Grand Prix, 3rd in the Dunlaoghaire 1.50m Grand Prix and 6th in
the Rolestown 1.40m Grand Prix. Unfortunately, a serious injury ended
Douglas’ sport career.
Offspring of Douglas are performing at the highest level. Suma’s
Zorro was placed in World Cup Qualifiers, was 3rd in Rabat, 3rd in Tetouan
and 6th in El Jadida.
Darco has won many show jumping competitions in his career such as: Champion of Belgium as a 5 year old. Winner of the Belgian Championship as a 6 year old. Darco was Winner of the Volvo World Cup in London 1988 and in Hertogenbosch in 1989. He was 6th in the World Championships in Stockholm in 1990 and 7th place in the Barcelona Olympics in 1992.
Lord Sinclair has qualified 4 times for the German Federal Championships. He was also two-time German Young Horse Champion, principal premium winner at the Oldenburg Stallion Days and commanding winner of the 1999 Stallion Performance Test. A top level dressage stallion who possesses coveted performance genes in abundance.
Scarlett Peternella Evita's dam comes from a strong performance damline of successfull sport horses in both dressage and showjumping. Mare performance tested she obtained good scores and was awarded the Ster predicate with the KWPN Stud Book. She also has good x-rays and holds the Prok predicate.
